Alberto's A Jerk...

This is what the yard looks like normally.

Well, Alberto took our "drought" seriously and dumped a LOT of water on us. This is our dock. Under about 2 inches of water. Normally, the water in the lake sits about 2 feet below the dock.... I think we're in for a wet summer.
At least the lawn looks good!!! And the dock no longer needs the bird poop scraped off!!!

Rotten Lily Monster!!!

Lillian is as rambunctious and cheeky as her sisters! She's getting SO huge, it's hard to believe she was ever small enough to fit in my tummy! She's starting to grasp the concept that the sounds that come out of our mouths are actually associated with things. She's particularly fond of "Jus, peas" and "Num num num, peas!"
Cheeky Monkey Girl!!! She really likes to eat...
Lillian decided she'd like to eat a marker! (sorry it's crooked, I'm not very good at the whole uploading pictures thing!)

Apparently she also wanted to draw permanent shoes on her feet!!!

"What? Is there something on my face?"

Nope, that's no the blue ocean, that's the very blue bathwater!!!!!

Sprinkler Fun!

Tabytha and Sabrina have been enjoying the summer weather! After months of being restricted to the inside of the house, they had a blast when we let them get their bathing suits on so they could run in the sprinkler. It was a gorgeous, hot day, and they had fun running amuck in the grass through the cool water. Lillian was asleep when they were up and running around. By the time she woke up, the sun had disappeared behind a mess of clouds, and it was too cool to let her have her turn. She'll get her chance soon enough!

Running Amuck!!!!

Oooooh! It's nice!!! C'mon in, the water feels good!

Curious Bean checks out the hose for quality assurance!

Gosh, Taby's getting HUGE!

Happy Smiley Boy!

His Royal Highness-ness has become quite the little social butterfly! He gets VERY excited to see his dad when he gets home from work. Whoever said boys don't talk very much was not wise to my children! Little Greg already coos and gurgles at us, and LOVES to laugh! This was a nice day when Greg got home and Little Greg immediately started kicking his legs, cooing and smiling at him. I think he was saying "OH! Daddy!!! I'm so happy you're home!"

Long Time No Hear

So, it's been almost a year since my last post, and a LOT has happened. Last you may have heard, I had 3 children. NOW, I have FOUR beautiful, healthy children. Little Greg was born at home on March 29th, 2006. He was 9 lbs 2 oz and 21 inches long. What a huge guy!! Yes, the homebirth WAS deliberate. We were attended by a friend and midwife who did a fantastic job. Greg and I, of course, did most of the work, and she sat by patiently waiting until she was needed. After almost 2 weeks of productive contractions, he was born just before 3am in our bedroom. Tabytha woke up shortly after he was born, as did the other two girls. We all admired and welcomed this new addition into the family, and then we all went to sleep for a bit. What a nice way to bring our last child into the world!!!

Proud Papa!!!

He's the MOSTEST HANDSOME in the entire world!!!
